Message of the Day from Rev. Mary White
Good Day and Blessings
As adults, we become aware that we are able to choose and develop our own life values. These are meaningful and specific to us and may be different from our parents. One significant value from my mother that I hold close to my heart is to treat everyone equally no matter their life circumstances.
That is, be respectful, caring, empathetic, charitable, and see the positive in people. Don’t hold on to grudges and turn the other cheek. Of course, life experiences have taught me that I only have so many cheeks to turn.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Romans 12:11-19. (MSG)
Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fuelled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality. Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody. Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”
Healing Creator
You uniquely created us all gifting each with our own perspectives and opinions. With the influence of our nurturing, we at times are very judgemental of Your people. Help us to observe the positive in others and be more sensitive toward them. When they are condescending, give us a gentle voice to help them toward an unguarded understanding. May we be Your healing influence by walking with those who feel and are oppressed. Bless us with strength to be more affective. With open hearts, guide us in the direction of a hopeful future. We pray in the Spirit of Love.
Amen.
