Good Afternoon and Blessings
Together we are so much more! We are created with different abilities, interests, skills, and talents. It is impossible for us to master all things, so we are called to be in relationships. Through this interdependence we can appreciate others and our own abilities. It isn’t a contest to compare ourselves but rather an experience in how we complement each other. No matter how much we have to offer, every portion that we contribute counts and is appreciated. To serve with Love is the worthiest gift.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Scripture Reading • 1 Corinthians 12:12-16 (ERV)
A person has only one body, but it has many parts. Yes, there are many parts, but all those parts are still just one body. Christ is like that too. Some of us are Jews and some of us are not; some of us are slaves and some of us are free. But we were all baptized to become one body through one Spirit. And we were all given the one Spirit.
And a person’s body has more than one part. It has many parts. The foot might say, “I am not a hand, so I don’t belong to the body.” But saying this would not stop the foot from being a part of the body. The ear might say, “I am not an eye, so I don’t belong to the body.” But saying this would not make the ear stop being a part of the body.
Prayer of the Day
Giving Creator
You gift us with family, friends, and companions along life’s journey. May we embrace the life gift of Your heartbeat that shuts out our mind packed with wants and desires. May we, with love, appreciate each other’s abilities. May we understand that we cannot master all skills but with others who will lend their accomplishments we can do enough. We pray this in the name of the One for whom we wait.
Amen
