He Always Keeps His Word

Good Afternoon and Blessings

This has been another good start to the day. I managed with a lot of help from Tyler to complete this Sunday’s Service. It only took me several tries before I realized that the camera was in still picture mode. So I had a number of interesting facial expressions to discard.

Not sure how many of you have ever experienced a labyrinth but I had an opportunity to walk one this morning. It is in the style of the meditative Chartres Labyrinth and is peacefully located in the woods south of Powell River. I plan to visit the Labyrinth at least once a week I thank my friend John for the invitation. This would be a physically safe distance for anyone who wishes a meditative experience. And John has offered an open invitation to anyone who wishes to partake of this spiritual practice. Let me know if you are interested and we can set a date to meet at a safe distance.

Also in appreciation for those wonderful caregivers and front line workers, Heather would like us all to stand outside at 7:00pm every Saturday and sing O Canada

Keep safe, Keep connected.

Hebrews 10:24-25 (The Message Bible)

So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshipping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching. (the big Day here refers to the coming of Jesus).

Prayer Of The Day

Creating One, in this time of discovering who we are and who we are becoming, we need protection because these feelings of uncertainty and vulnerability can be overwhelming. Light of the World illuminate our path as we journey down the road less ventured, Comforter calm our worried mind and restore us to the joy of living.

We continue forward in the hope and love of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Amen
