We Will Come Together Again

Good Evening and Blessings,

This has been a very good dayWe went for a meditative walk around the labyrinth, then down to the beach at the end of Donkersley Road, and home to a pod of whales travelling east past our house. There is so much to be grateful for which lifts the Spirit. Did you notice the fresh new blossoms, plants coming through?

It is the beginning of Holy Week and some have asked where they can find a Good Friday service online.  The Service at First Met United Church, Victoria  is on April 10 at 11:00am and the link is https://www.youtube.com/c/firstmetvictoria .

Also beginning this Wednesday at 7:30 pm Mars Constantinu will be leading meditation. If you would like to join us online, please follow this ZOOM link

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/275205779 .

This is a week for discerning and letting go.  Which begs the question: what do I need to let go of?

Keep safe, Keep connected.

Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

An Excerpt from A Song Of Faith Creed - United Church Of Canada, 2006

We find God made known in Jesus of Nazareth,

and so we sing of God the Christ, the Holy One embodied.

We sing of Jesus,

  a Jew,

born to a woman in poverty

in a time of social upheaval

  and political oppression.

He knew human joy and sorrow.

So filled with the Holy Spirit was he

that in him people experienced the presence of God among them.

We sing praise to God incarnate.

Prayer of The Day

Giving Creator

We have a multitude of reasons to keep going. Yes, we are challenged with this totally new way of life but we are your people—a people of hope.

This situation will come to an end and we will physically come together again in song and worship.

Our hope is in the Spirit that she will continue to breath life and joy within us all.

We may grieve what once was but we are reassured that we are not alone; God is with us. We will persevere.

Thanks be to God.

Amen
