Good Afternoon
Another glorious day in Powell River and hopefully everyone is at least getting out for a walk or time on your front steps.
We just finished the last of the Girl Guide cookies. I hope you had an opportunity to support their fun’raiser.
We are trying to support local business by purchasing once a week takeout for dinner. Hopefully the roadside markets will soon be open for business.
In the spirit of continuing to support the church community, the Navigation team will be meeting tomorrow morning, Wednesday.

[Justice Is on the Way ] You need to know, friends, that thanking God over and over for you is not only a pleasure; it’s a must. We have to do it. Your faith is growing phenomenally; your love for each other is developing wonderfully. Why, it’s only right that we give thanks. We’re so proud of you; you’re so steady and determined in your faith despite all the hard times that have come down on you. We tell everyone we meet in the churches all about you.

Sometimes we may wonder where you are in this exile that some days overpowers us? Then, we are reminded that you are right in the middle of this devastating disorder. Things continue to be turned upside down in our lives. We ask you to gift us with a deeper faith in your healing creations so we can overcome this disease. Give us the power to endure all that confronts our everyday struggles.
Be with us through anxiety and depression, and keep us uplifted through the Spirit.
We ask this in faith and Love.
Amen
