Good Afternoon and Blessings
Much of today was spent out on the deck watching sail boats peacefully floating past and listening to the soothing heartbeat rhythm of the drumming coming from the neighbours.
Some days are so beautiful that I don’t want them to end. This is one of those days in Powell River.

Matthew 7:1-5 (NIV)
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Gracious Creator
You have blessed us with an abundance of life and we are grateful. Grateful for the birds of the air that sing us awake in the early morning; grateful for the friends and family who keep us grounded when we lose our way; and grateful knowing we are loved and cherished as beloved Children of God.
May we always be grateful for relationships that we have, and continue to develop along life’s journey.
May we look upon creation with gratitude and respect.
We pray this in the Spirit of the One who is Christ.
