Pod of Orcas

Good Afternoon and Blessings

It is always good to come back from a stay-cation. My surroundings haven’t changed but my mental health has been replenished.

Yesterday afternoon, we were entertained for about 45 minutes by a pod of Orca Whales. There were several young ones doing what resembled a water dance. I developed a strong appreciation for the relationships they had with each other.

This afternoon Indigenous Minister Murray Pruden joined the Pacific Mountain Region Townhall to speak to Indigenous Heritage Month and his experience with human relationships. I learned that people of First Nations do not think in terms of race because all people are humans and are referred to in terms of Nations. A question that Minister Murray left us with was “What can you do today to help build relationships between Nations?”

Keep safe, Keep connected.

Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Cultivating Good Relationships

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do. And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with—even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently.

PRAYER OF THE DAY

Giving Creator

Guide us in our coming together in human relationships. Let our imaginations flow so that our creativity will help us be the answer to questions of segregation. Open our hearts to all who join us in this time and space as we journey this path with each other. Be our strength and guiding Light.

We pray this in the name of our guiding Spirit.

Amen
