Good Afternoon and Blessings
Although Spring is my favourite season with new life beginning to blossom through, Summer is a time of strong growth and abundance. It is a time for slowing down and enjoying the sluggish days within the warmth of longer daylight. We are beckoned outside where we hear the sounds of all creation’s activities. We have much to be appreciative of especially the hope that is generated through re-creation.

Romans 8:22-25 (MSG)
All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.
Prayer Of The Day
Birthing Creator,
everywhere we are observing your embrace around the new growth replenishing the earth, and breathing new life into your creations. As we wait for an end to this pandemic, we ask that you keep breathing new life into each of us. Nourish us with your living waters flowing within, through your Love that continually expands our Spirit. We pray this in the Spirit of our brother Jesus.
