Remaining Faithful Message from Rev. Mary White
Good Afternoon, and Blessings
Excerpt from Joy Mead “Whispers of Light”
Life drawing
Will I learn,
with an artist’s pencil
in my hand
how to imagine a soul,
how to show essence
in line and curve,
shape and form,
to re-create on a flat page
the being that is you.
This looking
one at another, one soul
to another, my essence
to your essence, has an intense beauty.
I touch paper with pencil
and see for a brief moment
what it is to be human.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.
Rev. Mary
Reading 1 Peter 2:24 (MSG)
This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss. They called him every name in the book, and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry us to the Cross so we could be free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. You were lost with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you’re named and kept for good by the Spirit of your souls.
Prayer
Spirit of the Cosmos
In your heart no malice can be found. Your heart knows only Love, Love without limitations, without reservation, without condition. Your heart speaks of gentleness, forgiveness, joy, peace and freedom. Your heart is open to all, whatever their burden is.
I pray to you, Creator, that I may always enter deeper into the mystery of your sacred heart and there find the source of all consolation and comfort. May I become so fully immersed in the love that comes forth from your heart that I cannot be anything other than a living witness of your boundless love to all I meet.
Amen
