Remaining Faithful Message from Rev. Mary White
Good Evening and Blessings
This Sunday May 23, 2021, we will celebrate Communion, so have your bread, and Juice/wine ready.
The longer we wait, the deeper the hope that we are coming closer to being together again. Having gone through a common experience, I wonder, when we are permitted to physically hug, if this will open our hearts to be more compassionate and more loving toward each other. I have faith that we will all feel closer and be full of loving-kindness.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.
Rev. Mary,
Reading • James 3:17-18
Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a mindful life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.
Prayer
Spirit Open our hearts, and minds, and present us with the wisdom to breathe your breath that makes all life observed as a living gift. We appreciate and use all your gifts that help us develop as loving persons. Shake our Spirit when we fail to be mindful of others and judge their behaviours. We offer You our prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of our days, in the name of the One who teaches.
Amen
