Thoughts to Ponder by Reverend Mary White
Science fiction author Robert A. Heinlein stated that humans are not rational animals, they are rationalizing animals. We tend to adjust situations to fit our experience and understanding of our world.
We work very hard at projecting our humanness on our pets, wild animals and even our Higher Power, God, Creator, Love or whatever label we wish to give this Spirit. Humanizing God is confining and isolating the Spirit within. Having a fluid Spirit expands our creativity and life experiences. So why not just let God be?
Stay safe. Stay connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Reading Excerpt from Sara Jewell’s, “Alphabet of Faith”
God transcends everything we try to say and write and paint and act. In truth, God is not something we can understand in our brains, but rather something we feel in our hearts, something spiritual that we sense and trust and give ourselves over to, something in our cells, in our beats and our breaths and our blinks. We can’t see it, but we can feel it. Whenever we try to put God in a box, we are simply failing ourselves by limiting our potential. Instead of trying to make God fit into our small, limited, human-created box, we actually are called to fit into God’s box.... Huge, borderless, unlimited, love, energetic, holy, sacred, peaceable, infinite, inclusive, expansive, welcoming, whole, universal … With space for everyone.
Prayer
Beloved One
Deepen and strengthen my faith so that I can see with new eyes and hear with new ears the signs and signals of your presence in my own world. It is my allowing distractions which keeps me from being fully aware of your powerful actions here and now. You are present; you work wonders no less today than in the days of your life with your disciples. Let me be so taken by what you show me and by what you say to me that your vision and hearing become my guide in life and impart meaning to all my concerns.
Stay with me always.
Amen
