A Blessed Day and Happy Spring!
We have been blessed today, this first day of spring, with sunshine and warmth. “This is the day that God has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” We continue to remain close to home during these days of COVID 19. But being at home doesn’t mean that we are required to stay indoors. So today, I invite you to go outside, sit on your step, or on your balcony, enjoy the sun and soak up some much needed vitamin D. Just remember to stay a safe distance from others --6 feet is recommended.
We are social beings. So, it is important to keep in touch with others in our faith community. A daily phone call or email to inquire as to how someone is doing is a good way to lift someone’s Spirit. Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Joel 2:21-23 (The Message Bible)
Fear not, Earth! Be glad and celebrate! God has done great things. Fear not, wild animals! The fields and meadows are greening up. The trees are bearing fruit again: a bumper crop of fig trees and vines!
Children of Zion, celebrate! Be glad in your God who is giving you a teacher to train you how to live right— Teaching, like rain out of heaven, showers of words to refresh and nourish your soul, just as God always does.
Prayer of the Day
Just when we imagine that we have it all figured out, you show up, Creating One, working the other side of the street. Turning the tables, challenging our comfort, bringing to the fore our deep faith. You are with us behind, before, above, below and within. Give us wisdom and freedom that we may sense the ways in which we may best live in this world.
Our lives are changing Holy One and at times we feel that we are losing control. Help us to accept this gift of life one day at a time. As we remain mindful of others, we will continue to serve with love.
We pray in the name of the utterly humble One with whom you gifted us. Amen
