Good Afternoon and Blessings • Message from Rev. Mary White
I am blessed (we all are) and grateful to be part of a faith community who is willing to step up and offer their skills and talents. While working this past week on the Advent and Christmas Seasons, a number of you took over the tasks of staying connected with our brothers and sisters in faith. I thank each one of you for sharing generously your gifts.
It seems that we are in the second wave of COVID 19 but we have a sprinkle of hope that a vaccine will be coming soon. In the meantime, we have the support of each other, and we know that we are never alone. We truly are blessed people of God.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Colossians 1:9. (MSG)
Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to God’s will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you’ll live well as you work hard to contribute as best you can. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but with joy and love. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, giving thanks to the One who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that has been gifted to us.
Prayer
Blessed One
We are grateful to have in our life God whose power is in the heart of everything.
We know how to live well but often we forget that your will for us is better than our own freewill. We ask for the power to let go of our own egotistic needs and follow the path of Love for others. Give us the discipline to take daily periods of quiet and calm that will open us up to hearing that still small voice. We pray in the name of the Spirit within.
Amen
