REMAINING FAITHFUL MESSAGE FROM REV. MARY WHITE
Good Afternoon and Blessings
With so many life experiences, it is difficult to live in the present. So much of our time is spent reliving and trying to rationalize past preoccupations that we lose sight of living now. By living purposefully, we accomplish more, have a better memory of our experienced life and are more grateful for the gift of time. Living in the moment takes a conscious effort but following practice, it will come naturally.
Stay safe. Stay connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.
Rev. Mary

TODAY
It is a moment of light surrounded on all sides by darkness and oblivion. In the entire history of the universe, let alone in your own history, there has never been another just like it and there will never be another just like it again. It is the point to which all your yesterdays have been leading since the hour of your birth. It is the point from which all your tomorrows will proceed until the hour of your death. If you were aware of how precious it is, you could hardly live through it. Unless you are aware of how precious it is, you can hardly be said to be living at all. The point is to see it for what it is because it will be gone before you know it. If you waste it, it is your life that you’re wasting. If you look the other way, it may be the moment you’ve been waiting for always that you’re missing. All other days have either disappeared into darkness and oblivion or not yet emerged from it. Today is the only day there is.
Prayer
Giver of Our Days
You who are always there in our moments, awaken our heart and mind to be more alive in our daily living. May we be mindful of our surroundings and appreciate the accomplishments of each task no matter how trivial or expansive they may be. May the labour we perform be the work that shares the Creator’s own life, which is one of love flowing out towards all creation. We pray for the power and strength to be more attentive to life. Keep us from distractions, we pray.
Amen
