Devotional Message from Rev. Mary White
Good Afternoon and Blessings
Humans are adaptable beings and this our second pandemic Easter, may find us to be somewhat comfortable even complacent during this extended period of social distancing. We tend to get use to life being a certain way and this becomes our new tradition. For me, the most difficult human social loss has been the sincere embracing arms of my family in faith. I miss the hugs but have enthusiastic hope that through vaccinations and following the scientists’ advice, we will be embracing again.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.
Rev. Mary

Excerpt From: Neil Paynter. “In Love With the Life of Life.”
We believe that God is present
in the darkness before dawn:
in the waiting and uncertainty
where fear and courage join hands,
conflict and caring link arms,
and the sun rises over barbed wire.
We believe in a with-us God,
who sits down in our midst
to share our humanity.
We affirm a faith
that takes us beyond the safe place:
into action, into vulnerability
and into the streets.
We commit ourselves to work for change
and put ourselves on the line;
to bear responsibility, take risks,
live powerfully and face humiliation;
to stand with those on the edge;
to choose life
and be used by the Spirit
for God’s new community of hope.
Prayer
Steadfast Committed One
You are our guiding light through days and months that seem to be unclear. May we as your children remain passionate about a future that can bring about unexpected, lifegiving experiences. Continue to birth us into relationships that will endure the painful occasions of our existence. As sisters and brothers of the resurrected Christ may hope prevail and reign within us. Keep us in Love and bless us this day, this night and always.
Amen
