Devotional Message from Rev. Mary White
Good Afternoon and Blessings
The mystic, Julian of Norwich has much to teach us about God and ourselves. I passionately believe that when we have done wrong, we place the greatest judgement on ourselves. Often this is done to the detriment of our relationships and can leave us in a state of self-condemnation that can last throughout our life. Through our Higher Power, we can forgive ourselves and let go of negative thoughts that control who we are.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Casting Shadows
(Julian of Norwich, Revelations of Divine Love, no.14)
I saw this truth: the wrath that we perceive
to be of God lies in ourselves alone,
a shadow which we cast (and then disown)
upon our God. In error we believe
that God has cast a shadow over us
of judgement, condemnation, suffering
for every failure, wrong and evil thing
we think we’re guilty of. Never thus
our God’s goodness, truth and love, power
and peace preclude all anger; and between
our soul and God no wrath can intervene,
however dark or dreadful be the hour.

Prayer
Spirit of Love
All creation is generated from your Love and we delight in the risen power of love, hope, and new life. May the good news of the Holy Resurrection demonstrate to us that your pure Love is filled with absolution, heartfelt joy, goodness and peace. May we appreciate that we have nothing to fear because Love overcomes all that can harm us.Keep us in Love and bless us this day, this night and always.
Amen
