This has been a very good day. Worship is completed for Palm Sunday and even with the absence of Palms –the order did not arrive—we still have a lot to celebrate.
This week’s newsletter and Sunday Service will be delivered tomorrow to those who do not have access to the internet. Thank you Phyllis for printing and addressing them.
Many of you remain socially connected which is very important. By now we probably know someone who has the COVID -19. Please tell someone about how you are feeling or call me to talk about it.
Holy week is near which may be a time to reflect on the sacrifices we are making to keep each other safe.
These sacrifices are from a place of love.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 • Let Love Be Your Guide
I may speak in different languages, whether human or even of angels. But if I don’t have love, I am only a noisy bell or a ringing cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy, I may understand all secrets and know everything there is to know, and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all this, if I don’t have love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have to help others, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing by doing all this if I don’t have love.
Prayer Of The Day
Creating Creator
We are grateful for the gift of love.
We pray today for those who are feeling overwhelmed and displaced. May they find their burdens lifted through the love of Christ.
For those who are feeling lonely and disconnected,
may they find comfort through the Spirit and love of family and friends.
For those in the world who are having difficulty coping, may they know that they are never alone, the love of God is with them always.
We pray for world governments, that they recognize that we are all in need of safety supplies and we ask that they share through loving kindness.
In Christ, we pray. Amen
