Prayer is Relationship with God

Good Afternoon and Blessings

This will be my last communications to you until June 16th. I will continue to keep you in my prayers for good mental and physical health. I understand that there are a few angels in our midst who will continue to communicate messages throughout the weeks while I am away at my stay-cation.

Sunday service will continue under the direction of Brenda Pielle and Lynn McCann. Also, in a couple of weeks look for music from Brenda, and David Richert—respecting social distances of course. I give thanks to God for all the support that you continue to give me and each other. We truly are a Christian family who Serve With Love.

Keep safe, Keep connected.

Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Rev. Mary

Matthew 6:5-6  (MSG)

Pray with Simplicity

“And when you come before God, don’t turn that into a theatrical production either. All these people making a regular show out of their prayers, hoping for stardom! Do you think God sits in a box seat?

“Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense God’s grace.

Prayer is relationship with God.

Prayer Of The Day

Conveyor of Grace

In your name we send our prayers and wait for your will. No matter how we pray, we know that our every thought is heard. At this time in our life, we ask for foresight that takes us to the end of separation. It is difficult being closed off from our family and friends. May we be filled with hope and encouragement that all will be well and this prolonged seclusion will not last forever. Your steady presence is what we need at this phase in our life. In the name of the One who guides us, we pray.

Amen
