Daily Message and Prayer from Rev. Mary White
Good Afternoon and Blessings
Life has taught me that it has a way of balancing out the pleasant feelings and the unpleasant ones. If we find that life labours are too great an effort, then we only need to remind our self that soon this will end, and joy will return. But it is imperative to keep in mind that if depressed/sad feelings persist, it is best for our mental health, to connect with and receive help from a doctor. In our society, mental health has evolved to a place of acceptance and understanding. There is no shame in asking for assistance and medications have advanced in the area of mental health. We must remain responsible for and alert to our overall health, especially these days of physical distancing.
Keep safe, Keep connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

John 16:21-24 The Message (MSG)
“When a woman gives birth, she has a hard time, there’s no getting around it. But when the baby is born, there is joy in the birth. This new life in the world wipes out memory of the pain. The sadness you have right now is similar to that pain, but the coming joy is also similar. When I see you again, you’ll be full of joy, and it will be a joy no one can rob from you. You’ll no longer be so full of questions.
“This is what I want you to do: Ask Abba for whatever is in keeping with the things I’ve revealed to you. Ask in my name, according to my will, and he’ll most certainly give it to you. Your joy will be a river overflowing its banks!
Prayer Of The Day
Life Creator
We are miraculously made with a variety of feelings that can take us to extremes. We are aware that life circumstances affect our Spirit. Help us to discover a state of balance; a place within where the Spirit is calm and accepting. Gift us with more days of joy so we have hope as we sometimes struggle to live one day at a time. And keep our doctors well so they are able to continue sharing their gifts of helping service. We pray this in the name of Christ our brother, our guide.
Amen
