Inwardness

Something to Ponder

When studying logic many years ago, I came across the term apriori logic which is something that can be known independently of any particular evidence or experience. Of course, this type of logic was not mentioned in our classes but it spoke volumes to my self understanding. At first, I tossed this up to intuitive knowledge and later realized that this is knowledge from deep within and so now accept it as a gift.

Stay safe. Stay connected.

Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

Reading from “Unlearning Back To God: Essays On Inwardness” by Mark Nepo

Spot Of Grace
Each person is born with an unencumbered spot, free of expectation and regret, free of ambition and embarrassment, free of fear and worry, an umbilical spot of grace where we were each first touched by God. It is this spot of grace that issues peace. Psychologists call this spot the Psyche, theologians call it the Soul ...
To know this spot of inwardness is to know who we are, not by surface markers of identity, not by where we work or what we wear or how we like to be addressed but by feeling our place in relation to the Infinite and by inhabiting it.

Prayer

Gracious Giver of Life when we look at  others through the thick and fear-spotted lenses  of judgement, polish our souls with grace and compassion so we can see them with our hearts.
