SOMETHING TO CONTEMPLATE
God, what would you have me do and say today?
Be a mirror image of me.
I am you. You represent me in the world. Be that which you cannot be when apart from me. Today, hold me within you… Fall back into me when your ego pushes forward. Let go of yourself and let me through. Give me your eyes, mouth, mind, and heart, moment by moment. I am you. You are me. We are one. The day is blessed, and we are a blessing in it. Our adventure awaits.

Young Family Fun with Brenda Pielle
Dear Friends:
Spring has sprung! I have heard some lawn mowers going in my neighbourhood, and the sun has been shining. Birds are singing and flowers are blooming. It is a wonderfully beautiful time of year!
The Parent Tot video this week has the reading of a story from a Barney Treasury as well as these songs: The More We Sing Together; Pussy Willow; The Robin; All Through the Day; and God Made Me.
The Family Fun video has a reading about the Robin and one about the Racoon plus the following songs: This is the Day; We Give Thanks; Rockin’ Robin; Doe A Deer; I am the Light of the World.
Enjoy some family time while singing along.

ISAIAH 53:3-4 (MSG)
The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling, a scrubby plant in a parched field. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing to cause us to take a second look. He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand. One look at him and people turned away. We looked down on him, thought he was scum. But the fact is, it was our pains he carried — our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought he brought it on himself, that God was punishing him for his own failures. But it was our offenses that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him—our offenses! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed. We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost. We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And God has piled all our offenses, everything we’ve done wrong, on him, on him.

ATTENDANT SPIRIT
The angels around us, the ones I’ve seen when too tired to think, the one who twitches in our dog when she sleeps, the one who rides the sun through the fork in the oak, the one who weighs the angry hand open, the one who like a breeze lifts the curtain of my eyes, the one who flits like a dragonfly in the back of my throat telling me it’s ok to cry— they don’t come to help us out of here.
They quietly wait for the storms of paradise to crack, for the dreams we lean on to topple. They soak up light and wait like dew on grass for us to notice – then slip in through our smallest sigh.
From “The Way Under the Way” by Mark Nepo
All creation is God’s reflection. A human being should reflect upon this.

LOVING ONE
Within our lives, take from us the spirit of laziness, half-heartedness, selfish ambition and idle talk. Give us rather the spirit of integrity, purity of heart, humility, faithfulness and love. Living Spirit help us to see our own errors, and not to judge our neighbours; for your mercy’s sake.
AMEN
